Top 4 DNA defects the Terminator Series had

Terminator 2: The judgement day was the smash hit of that time.It was the judgement day for a new era of computer generated animation in movies which evolved into something called 300 in recent times. And guess what the entire series came into existence just because our mani rathnam of Hollywood,Mr.James Cameron had a weird nightmare that a robot from the future came and killed him ! I just happened to get a DVD set of the three terminators together and spent the entire working hours of a day watching them in tandem.Coupled with the prospect of another T-movie on the horizon its about right time we explore the genetic defects that characterizes this franchise. But first a sneak rare peak of one of the new terminators from T4:

Hey you know my brother ? he killed a lot of people with this gun

Liked it ? So now lets get on with the main story 😛

4.Savior from the future fights terminator v2.0 (or ##.0): Savior wins-everyone happy:

What was so right about the concept ?

Well you have a bad guy around who time-travels to kill the last hope of humanity. So you need a good guy who travels from the future to kill the bad guy and save humanity.Terminator-the original movie started off well with the concept.Bad robot time-travels,leader of human resistance forces his comrade to time travel and impregnate his mom and kill the bad robot.Puny human being time travels and fights an almost losing battle with the evil bot and together with his new found lady love manages to trick the machine into destruction.Everybody wins.

Papa Papa where have you been ?

Papa Papa where have you been ?

Where did it start to go wrong ?

Terminator 2.Same skeletal structure of story. An advanced shape shifting liquid poly alloy T-1000 time travels to kill the Kid edition of John Connor. The Mature MILF fornicating edition of John Connor makes no mistake this time and sends across the same old junk of a T-800 given the fact that they conquered the skynet base. Why ?? couldn’t he modify one of the latest ones or experimental ones and send it ? Why does he need to send a Wall-E ? And as expected almost the entire movie is about how the technologically inferior T-800 gets a good pounding from the uber T-1000.Makes sense ? obviously no. In fact it draws nothing but some homo erotic references.

Where did it really cross the line ?

Terminator 3.People never make the mistake twice. But guess what the makers of the terminator 3 did just that.It was the same storyline again!Worse this time.Future John fucking connor sends back an obsolete and reprogrammed T-800 to save his dog medicine dependent past self from T-X-a terminator almost nearing to perfection-a terminatoric karma ! T-x got everything, you name it,flame throwers, plasma canon, gattling guns, shapeshifting abilities, blue LEDs from 2004,silicone boobs, bigger silicon boobs, embedded DNA scanner in tongue, killer bod, backup batteries and what not.T-800 got nothing mentioned above plus looks old,was forcefully re-programmed ( robotic equivalent of man rape) and sent to the past without clothes.Makes me ask the same old question again… why the heck they couldn’t capture and re-program a model with advanced features? But guess what the wimp of the past John connor is one lucky dude…T-800 wins.In the course we learn that T-800 has a backup program in case of an injection attack to its main memory. So why didn’t it re-program itself back when John’s mistress reprogrammed him?

Aint I beautiful ???

Ain't I beautiful ???

3.There has to be chase scenes:Chased by terminator initially-later terminator chased by terminator

What was so right about the concept ?

Nothing pumps up the juices other than a chase scene on a freeway. And if you have an unstoppabale terminator chasing you on a mega monster truck then its even more fucking cool.Terminator 2 paved the way for freeway chasing scenes which reached its pinnacle at matrix 2.It was so goddamn awesome in terms of adrenaline that it made die hard 4.0 look like an unabashed copy and upgrade edition of the terminator chase sequence.Everything about the terminator 2 chase sequence was cool.Arnie manning his mansome Harley and the T-1000 chasing him (and connor) like a reckless driver in a monster truck. The chase ends in a blitzerkig of the truck and a few running tyres and debris shooting out of the inferno.Thats action.

WTF ???

WTF ???

Where did it start to go wrong ?

The makers of Terminator 3 inexplicably decided that there has to be a chase scene.Even though it was proved years back that the height of chase sequences was achieved in Matrix 2.But still they wanted to make a very good terminator two and release it as terminator 3.More chases, more liquid metal, more poontang, more guns, more Arnie.

Where did it really cross the line ?

Terminator_Arnie in a red firetruck chasing the terminator T_X in an industrial crane chasing connor riding the wimpiest vehicle on earth-a poultry vehicle 🙂

2.John Connor keeps changing in every episode !

What was so right about the concept ?

Well John Connor was a kid sometime.May be born of a time travelling father and criminally insane and institutionalized mom but he was a kid and he grew up.Nothing wrong having the full grown Connor first howling battle cries and a more docile kid edition later.

I am all grown up in T2

Hey Mom: I am all grown up in T2

Where did it start to go wrong ?

When Nick Stahl tried to be Michael Edwards in T3.Admit it boys..Nick stahl was NOT the John Connor material. He looked like a Teddy bear climbing Tiger Hills in Kargil to fight off evil terrorists.Nick stahl alone was responsible for shifting the focus from the terminator to the god forsaken look of John Connor. Not to mention he never looked, talked or behaved like a post apocalyptic hero !

Look Mom...I had Plastic Surgery

Look Mom...I had Plastic Surgery

Where did it really cross the line ?

Rumors started on the net after the major debacle called T3 that Nick Stahl was being considered for T4- a sequel already thought dead.Seriously people, what did you see in him ??? Thank god we still have sane people around and with all due respect to sanity they have got Christian Bale to reboot the franchise this time.He already looks promising.

Die goddamn rusty terminator.....Die

Die goddamn rusty terminator.....Die

1.Arnie Arnie Arnie

What was so right about the concept ?

Arnold was the resident muscle boy. With his cold hard stare and Level 25 hardcore skill in groping female human mamary glands with his perfectly toned muscular arms Arnie was the natural choice. He was a perfect fit for the bot sent back in time to gouge out his eye and let every one know he looks crazy awesome with a literally red eye.He was also the natural selection when Terminator 2 was concieved, for the sake of continuity and kind of justifying “I’ll be back”-ish statements.Further not many people at that time could lift a vehicular grade minigun.

Where did it start to go wrong ?

It was evident in Terminator two and kind of obvious by the time T3 was released that the entire story was not about humans fighting evil machines but instead the entire story was about Arnie. The story was built around him.Every other scene in T3 was a gigantic billboard of a gone by era glories. And Arnie looked old all along-real old.

I am .....so.....old......

I am .....so.....old......

Where did it really cross the line ?

The Governator was rumored to have a cameo appearence in T4. Do we have old age homes for Terminators or rather ex-terminators ? And the moment I finished writing that last sentence I just realised that exterminator and terminator means the same !!! We are doomed…..

UPDATE: Second followup to the topic.
